what we do at BSC

At Bainbridge State College, the Student Government Association (SGA) provides a line of communication for students, to higher administrative bodies at the college, such as the Interim President, Dr. Stuart Rayfield. Students can approach their class representative regularly with suggestions for campus adjustments and for advice on things such as how to get a club up and running here at the college. Most of us are willing to set up one-on-one appointments to hear from students, and we encourage you to contact us about anything you may need, or feel should be adjusted. The President/Vice President should be contacted regarding any urgent matters, including how you can get involved with student government, and maybe become a member yourself!
Becoming a part of SGA gives you the opportunity to meet the Carter Arts and Lecture Series guests, and have lunch with the President! It opens you up to an array of social networks, and you can converse and interact with influential people at the college, gaining valuable experience and knowledge along the way. Members of SGA use these freshly discovered skills to accommodate students so long as they have the means to do so! SGA can be contacted via email, or by phone if absolutely necessary (requested of the member by email). SGA’s goal is to make sure students voices are always heard, and never silenced, that ideas are always considered, and never shunned, and that students are always met with a positive attitude, and a winning smile! SGA is a wonderful and rewarding organization, as you get to witness your contributions to student life and wellness develop into a thriving student body, in which everyone’s needs are met! In other words, feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns, as well as your complaints and suggestions.
